Magnetic Pumps

Magnetic Pumps

The magnetic pump is a branch of the pump, and is a new product that applies the working principle of the permanent magnet coupling shaft to the centrifugal pump. In the production process of petroleum, chemical industry, pharmaceutical, printing and dyeing, electroplating, food, environmental protection, etc., it is used to transport corrosive liquid with no iron scrap.

The composition of magnetic pump

Magnetic pump mainly consists of pump head, magnetic actuator (magnetic cylinder), motor, base and other parts. The magnetic actuator consists of an outer magnetic rotor, an internal magnetic rotor and a non-conductive isolation sleeve.

Working principle of magnetic pump

When the motor drives the external magnetic rotor to rotate, the magnetic field can penetrate the air gap and non-magnetic material, and drive the inner magnetic rotor connected with the impeller to rotate synchronously, realize the non-contact transmission of power and transform the dynamic seal into a static seal. As the pump shaft and the internal magnetic rotor are completely closed by the pump body and the isolation sleeve, the problem of "running, dropping and leaking" is completely solved. It eliminates the hidden danger of flammable, explosive, toxic and harmful medium in oil refining and chemical industry through the leakage of pump seal.

Advantages of magnetic pump

  • The pump shaft is a closed static seal, which completely avoids the leakage of the medium. It can be amphibious and completely waterproof.
  • There is no need for independent lubrication and cooling water to reduce energy consumption.
  • It's effective and the effect of the vibration of the motor on the pump and the influence of the vibration of the pump on the motor is reduced.
  • The rotor will be skidded on the ceramic shaft during overloading, which can protect the motor and pump.
