(1) The tighter the dynamic ring seal is, the better it is.

When the working conditions change frequently, it cannot be timely adjusted, and it easily leads to Excessive fatigue of the spring causes deformation of the dynamic ring seal, causing leakage and affecting the sealing effect.

(2) The greater the spring pressure is, the better the sealing effect is.
Although there is no leakage during the test run, but with high-speed continuous operation, the amount of spring compression is too large, it will lead to rapid wear of the friction pair, and even instant burn. Excessive compression makes the spring lose the ability to adjust the end of the moving ring, resulting in sealing Failure or direct lead to spring scrap.

(3) The tighter the impeller lock nut, the better it is.
Leakage between the sleeve and the shaft is common, and it is generally believed that the shaft seal leakage is the impeller lock nut is not locked. In fact, there are many factors that cause leakage between shafts. For example, the inter-axis pads are damaged, misaligned, there are impurities in the shafts, and there is a large error in the shape of the shaft sleeve and the shaft, the contact surface is damaged, and there are gaps between the parts on the shaft. If the shaft thread length is too long, leakage between shafts may occur. Excessive locknuts will only lead to premature failure (internal aging, damage, etc.) of the inter-liner pad. On the contrary, a moderate lock on the nut will keep the inter-axle pad always compressible elastic. In operation, it will automatically lock in time and make the shaft Always in a good sealed state.

(4) Dismantling maintenance is better than unremoving.
Leakage of the mechanical seal of the pump, in fact, sometimes the seal does not damage the failure, just properly adjust the situation will eliminate the leak. this can avoid waste (demolition may cause static ring damage or seal failure), but also Verify their own fault diagnosis capabilities, accumulate maintenance experience, improve the quality of inspections, and reduce the cost of overhauling pump mechanical seals.
