Advantages Of PTFE

(PTFE) oil seal is one seal of ptfe mechanical seal. It has the following advantages compared to the rubber oil seal.

1.Rubber oil seal with a spring pressed tip mouth, the width of the contact with the axis is only 0.3 - 0.5mm, PTFE oil seal with a spring free wide lip dynamic structure, and the shaft contact face width of 5 - 7mm, so that a sufficient oil film can be maintained, and the axis is not sensitive to eccentricity, in the radial runout 0.4mm working conditions can still work normally.

2. The inner wall of the PTFE oil seal is equipped with a threaded groove opposite to the shaft. When the shaft rotates, it will generate an inward thrust to prevent the fluid from flowing out. This thrust is high enough to seal the pressure of 1.0MPa (Dan Chun) and 3MPa (LIP) fluid, and the rubber seal is only 0.03MPa.

3, PTFE oil seal excellent abrasion resistance, especially for oil - free or oil - less state work, even if a long-term shutdown after re - use, can also immediately have low friction characteristics, rubber oil seal is only suitable for oil state work.

4, PTFE oil seal is especially suitable for high-speed rotary applications, with a linear speed up to 30m/s and a NBR rubber seal with the highest line speed of 10m/s.

5, the maximum temperature of the PTFE oil seal can reach 350 degrees, and the maximum temperature of the fluorine rubber seal is 200 degrees Celsius.

6, PTFE oil seal can seal water, acid, alkali, solvent, gas and so on. Rubber oil seal can only seal oil and grease.
